White Paper Launch ‘Gender Perceptions and Experiences Working in Transport’
All-Party Parliamentary Group for Women in Transport
On behalf of Ruth Cadbury MP, Chair of the APPG for Women and Katie Hulland, President of Women in Transport, the APG launched its White Paper today ‘Gender Perceptions and Experiences Working in Transport’.
For too long there has been very little data or insight into women working in the transport sector. The research is to be the start of this conversation and find out what women’s experiences and perceptions are of working in the transport industry.
The groundbreaking research provides a stark warning that what has been done so far is not working sufficiently and the APG is calling on Government and the transport industry, to use the findings of the research and action the recommendations making a positive change to the transport industry for all.
Both the report and the press release can be read on Women in Transport’s website here
