ITS Australia and ITS Ireland sign cooperative MOU
A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed by ITS (UK)’s partners between ITS Australia and ITS Ireland “to cement future cooperation”.
The societies say the purpose of the MOU, signed at the ITS World Congress in Copenhagen, is to promote collaboration in ITS research, planning, promotion and deployment of technologies, and to improve membership value through research, education and commercial cooperation.
Ireland and Australia are both making strong advances in the development of intelligent transport technology and the exchange of information between the nations will be highly beneficial to continue the progress.
The MOU will permit exchanges of ITS professionals and information, educational and professional development initiatives, and the joint marketing and promotion of events in each country.
