DfT led on-line workshop on the Future of Transport Regulatory Review Call for Evidence
May 6 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
The Department for Transport (UK) are pleased to let you know that the Future of Transport Regulatory Review Call for Evidence is open and we would like to gather feedback from our Members before the deadline of 22 May 2020. There is an opportunity to provide comments on MaaS, micromobility vehicles, flexible bus services, ensuring inclusive future transport, enabling trials of new models and local leadership of new transport services.
The MaaS chapter (pages 38-45) considers the regulatory changes that may be necessary to support the integration of different transport modes into a single mobility service, and the case for Government to do more to shape the development of MaaS platforms. You can see the full Call For Evidence document and submit your response via the online survey here. ITS (UK) is developing a response.
Francine Gilmore (DfT) will be presenting an overview of this Review right after our AGM at 2pm and this is your chance to provide initial thoughts on the MaaS Call for Evidence and the opportunity for a Q&A as we develop our written response. Members can of course also be part of other responding teams via their own employing organisations.
