ITS (UK) member Cubic Transportation Systems has participated in the ITS World Congress 2018 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
ITS World Congress brings together global leaders in intelligent and transformative transportation to showcase and evaluate the latest innovative concepts and make the necessary contacts to move initiatives forward.
“In the quest towards Mobility as a Service, city networks are becoming increasingly complex, having to integrate an increasing number of transport modes, cater to the fast-changing needs of travelers and rapidly adopt new technologies,” said Chris Bax, vice president, ITS global strategy, CTS. “They require modern, real-time solutions that improve transport network management, provide smooth travel experiences for passengers and effectively address the needs of transit agencies. Cubic is proud to be at the forefront of smart city revolution, offering technology and industry expertise to our partner agencies around the world.”
This year, Cubic sponsored the ITS UK stand and showcased the Cubic Transport Management Platform. Cubic’s transport management system which monitors and controls urban and intra-urban transport networks, will be deployed in Sydney as part of a $35 million Intelligent Congestion Management Program (ICMP) contract with Transport for New South Wales.
