Diversity Award launched for the Bordeaux ITS Congress


ITS United Kingdom has worked with colleagues in the UK, Austria, Canada, the US, Italy, Sweden, France, Australia, and Singapore to launch an Award for the best action taken to promote the creation of an ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) workforce which reflects the clients and users of the ITS being supplied and managed.  The Award will be made in connection with the ITS World Congress in Bordeaux 2015.

The award is open to any organisation or individual anywhere in the world. 

The submissions will be judged by an eminent panel of ITS professionals representing the three regions of the ITS world:

  • Americas – Jane Lappin, US and Susan Spencer, Canada
  • Asia Pacific – Susan Harris, Australia and Grace Ong, Singapore
  • Europe & Africa – Evelinde Grassenegger, Austria and Suku Phull, UK

Entries should be sent in the form of a one-page Word document to diversity@its-uk.org.uk not later than 31 August 2015.

The award will be presented during the Bordeaux ITS Congress.
